Introduction

Air quality is a global issue and concerns everyone - in both an economic and wellbeing level. We spend more than 90% of our lives in indoor spaces, and often find ourselves in spaces where indoor concentrations of some pollutants are often two to five times higher than that of outdoors.

Visible displays will keep building operators accountable for air quality, and the public can now be made aware of the indoor air environment they put themselves in. Such a solution empowers the tenant to assure operational efficiency, comfort, risk mitigation, and overall making it cost-efficient.

What we measure?

AirWits Insight Overall Observation Distribution

Overview

Your all in one indoor air quality portal to view the most important data for your team, and present to the public if may choose to do so.

i. Graph and row list view

You can change the way the data is viewed between a graph or a row view - flick the switch button on the top right between the two and the data will adjust accordingly.

ii. Hierarchical structure

The hierarchical structure of the workspace is defined in the section "AirWits Insight Spaces". See for more information.

iii. Exporting CSV files and multiple workspaces

You can export a CSV from chosen hierarchy level or dump multiple workspace data by clicking on the ⁝ on the top right and select the desired action.

iv. Manage public view

A public view is a view that allows you to present your overall indoor air quality monitoring to your public spaces, and it is done through a static URL link that is auto-generated. Click on the hamburger menu ⁝ copy the generated URL to a new webpage, and go into full screen mode. The screen will update itself every five minutes. The public screen will show the readings of your following observations of your choosing, and a master 0-100 reading that adjusts between "Unhealthy" and "Good". See "AirWits Insight Settings" on how to adjust the thresholds.

v. Filtering observation type and timeframe

You may have more than one type of device monitoring different values between CO2, PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10, TVOC, Temperature, or Humidity. To select specific data you want to view, go to the top navigation "Observation Type" on the drop down menu and select the desired metric. Right beside, you can also adjust your desired timeframe.

vi. To view specific times of the day

On the overall observation distribution (Either through graph or row list view), you will be able to establish the ranking of the indoor air quality data, either by date or hour. For example, if you want to view the quality of your CO2 readings on a specific day - start by filtering the observation type to CO2 and select a specific date in time. Once filtered you will see a thresholds legend on the top navigation, followed by the observations by a 24 hour clock - each hour will observe the ranking out of 5 to determine the quality of your CO2 readings.

AirWits Insight Spaces

Overview

Some spaces have more than one floor, or room, or area, thus a hierarchical structure is present. Here for example "Folder" may determine the floor/s and "Space" may determine the room/s. You are able to add an infinite number of folders and spaces, and a "Space" doesn't necessarily have to be within a folder.

Adding/editing folders

When editing a folder you can change the name of the folder and select the right threshold group - see "AirWits Insight Settings" for selecting and editing threshold groups.

Adding/editing spaces

When editing spaces you may be able to change a space's "Name" and "Type". Similar to editing folders, you are also able to select the corresponding threshold group.
